Description: The Individual Annuity Experience Committee of the Society of Actuaries has completed an experience study of individual annuities covering the calendar years 2000 - 2004. The intest of this study was to provide recent annuitant mortality experience which can be compared to the Annuity 2000 Mortality Table, and provide a basis for a possible revision to that table. These are 2 Pivot table data for that experience study. One is for all companies combined and the other is for 10 common companies. Description: Historically, male mortality rates were below those of females. However, that trend has been reversed within the last 100 to 150 years, causing revolutionary changes in the role of women. This subject was examined in a paper on “Mortality Trends of Males and Females Over the Ages” by Barnet N. Berin, George J. Stolnitz and Aaron Tenenbein, presented at the Centennial meeting.

Description: This paper presents and analyzes data on disability and disability termination rates from group waiver of premium, group disability income, individual loss-of-time business and the OASDI system. Description: This report was presented at the October 1982 Society of Actuaries annual Meeting in Washington D.C.. It presented supplementary information on the 1979 Build and Blood Pressure Study. This supplementary study was made to answer a number of specific questions raised by medical directors and actuaries of life insurance companies as well as by some prominent physicians and research scientists.

Description: This is the fourth Intercompany Study of Long–Term Care Insurance. This report combines and analyzes data received from 24 insurers that agreed to provide information to further the knowledge of long–term care insurance. Those insurers are listed in Appendix A of the report.

Description: This is the digest from the informal discussion reviewing the 1951 Impairment study. It is the latest in a series of studies covering mortality of impaired risks. It covers the experience under Ordinary insurance issued from 1935 to 1949 traced to the anniversaries in 1950. Standard and substandard policies were studied separately.

Description: Data call for the upcoming Group Term Life Experience Study, which will cover 2007 to 2009. This is a long-standing experience study of the SOA. The results are used by companies to update pricing, and in the past, the IRS has used results to update Table I rates, which determine imputed income related to group term life employer plans.
